Functional Skills Maths Level 2
The Online Exam
This exam (if passed) will lead you to get a Functional Skills Level 2 Maths Qualification. An equivalent to a Pass grade in GCSE Maths. So it can be used in place of an actual GCSE Pass qualification. Allowing you to progress higher in education, or in the workplace. Opening up different opportunities to you such as:

Exam Structure
While the exam will be split into 2 sections, they will both cover a multitude of different Maths topics.
Non-Calculator Exam (30 minutes)
This exam, as the name suggests, does not allow you to use a calculator. It will rely on your Maths skills without a calculator to pass your exam.
Calculator Exam (1 hour 30 minutes)
Now you will gain access to a calculator, either from the exam site itself or your own physical calculator (non-scientific calculators only!).
Requirements
A Laptop or Desktop (Windows or Mac), Chromebooks, Ipads, or phones CANNOT be used.
A webcam and microphone, usually built in, but can be purchased cheaply if not
A strong enough Wi-Fi, minimum of 10 Dowload and 1 Upload (Can be tested here)
A room where no one will enter/be present during the exam
The desktop Zoom application (the website version will not work)
A compatible web browser, Chrome, Edge and Safari are fine

A Functional Skills Maths Level 2 Exam is equivalent to a GCSE level exam.
The Functional Skills Maths Level 2 Exam takes 2 hours to complete. The Exam is split into 2 sections, being the Non-Calculator Exam, and the Calculator Exam. The Non-Calculator takes just 30 minutes, and the Calculator takes 1 hour and 30 minutes.
For the Functional Skills Maths Level 2 Exam, the prices range from £225. There are a few price differences depending on either, no notice for the exam, purchasing the course or if you try to book the exam on a Saturday.
The Functional Skills Maths Level 2 exams are not free unfortunately. We do provide a free section to our Functional Skills Maths Level 2 Course however! This will allow you to try out our course without having to purchase it first.
