The programme offers National Tutoring Programme tutoring in the subjects of science, English, and maths, and is currently aimed at GCSE students, though expansion is possible in the future.

What is the National Tutoring Programme?
It was initially introduced to offer additional support in response to the pandemic’s effects – the National Tutoring Programme was created to provide schools with extra funding to enhance students’ academic performance through tuition. As a result of the program’s ongoing success, it has since been extended beyond its original purpose.
How does the NTP funding work?
The National Tutoring Programme provides funding of £162 per Pupil Premium student, which can be used to support any student. The funding is disbursed three times a year in September, December, and April. Schools can claim up to 60% of the tuition cost, capped at £18 per hour per student
